Welcome

What to Expect as a New Patient

A visit at EURA is like any other medical appointment — straightforward, covered by insurance where applicable, and focused on your care. Here is everything you need to know to get started.

The Process

From First Contact to First Visit

1

Contact Us to Book

Reach out by phone or through the contact form on Eura's website. Someone from the practice will get back to you to schedule your appointment.

We respond within 24–48 hours.

2

Verify Your Insurance

Before your visit, Eura will verify your insurance coverage. Please be ready to provide your insurance information when you call. A credit card is required on file at the time of booking.

3

Complete Your Intake Forms

You will receive access to your patient portal after booking. Please complete your intake forms there before your visit so the appointment time can be used most effectively.

4

Attend Your Visit via Zoom

Your first visit is conducted over Zoom and typically runs 30–45 minutes. Ted will review your health history, discuss your goals, and develop a care plan together. If labs are needed, the order will be sent after your visit — you can get them done at any Quest Diagnostics location.

Have Zoom accessible on your device before the appointment. A link will be provided at the time of booking.

5

Follow-Up & Ongoing Care

Before your first visit ends, a follow-up will be scheduled — typically at 1 or 3 months depending on your clinical situation. Prescriptions, when appropriate, are sent to the pharmacy of your choice.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a referral from my primary care doctor?

No. You can contact us directly to schedule — no referral required.

Can I get a prescription at my first visit?

Yes, if it is clinically appropriate. Ted will review your history and goals during the visit and may prescribe at that time. In some cases, labs will be ordered first and a prescription issued at your follow-up once results are back.

Where do I get my labs done?

Eura sends lab orders to Quest Diagnostics. You can go to any Quest location at your convenience after your visit.

How do I reach you between visits?

Through the patient portal or by phone. Eura responds within 24–48 hours.

What if telemedicine isn't appropriate for my situation?

Eura will always be upfront about what can be safely managed remotely. If your clinical situation requires in-person care, you will be informed and helped to connect with the right provider.

What should I expect from care at EURA overall?

A straightforward medical visit — covered by insurance where applicable, clinically grounded, and built around your individual goals. The aim is to make this feel like any other healthcare experience, just more affirming.
