Continuity of Care

HIV Care That Meets You Where You Are

Living with HIV means finding a provider you can trust — one who understands your full picture, not just your labs. Eura offers ongoing HIV care for established patients via telehealth, led by an AAHIVS-certified HIV Specialist, in a practice that is genuinely affirming of your identity and your life.

Who Eura Can See for HIV Care

  • Not a brand new diagnosis — you have had a physical exam with a healthcare provider within the last year
  • CD4 count above 200 cells/mm³ with labs within the last year
  • At least one in-person visit with an HIV provider since diagnosis, or within the last 6 months
  • No current symptoms of opportunistic infections and no significantly low BMI. Symptoms that would require in-person evaluation include:
    • ·Unexplained fever, chills, or drenching night sweats
    • ·Unexplained significant weight loss
    • ·Persistent cough, shortness of breath, or difficulty breathing
    • ·White patches in the mouth or throat (oral thrush)
    • ·Severe or persistent diarrhea
    • ·New skin lesions or unusual rashes
    • ·Severe headache, vision changes, or confusion

Not sure if you qualify? Reach out — we're happy to talk through your situation before you book.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Why does Eura require a prior in-person visit? +

HIV care via telehealth works best as continuity care — meaning you already have an established diagnosis, a treatment history, and a baseline with an in-person provider. This allows Eura to provide safe, effective management through telehealth without gaps in your care.

What if my CD4 is below 200? +

A CD4 count below 200 indicates a more complex clinical picture that may require in-person evaluation and closer monitoring than telehealth can safely provide. We can help refer you to an appropriate in-person provider and may be able to support your care once your counts have stabilized.

Can Eura be my HIV provider? +

Yes — as long as your HIV is stable. Once you are established with Eura and your labs, viral load, and overall health are in a good place, we can serve as your ongoing HIV provider for medication management, lab monitoring, and routine care — all via telehealth. Patients with stable, well-controlled HIV are exactly who Eura's telehealth model is designed for.

Does insurance cover HIV care visits? +

Most major commercial insurance plans cover HIV management visits. It is also worth noting that all insurance plans are required to cover antiretroviral medications (ARVs) — so your HIV treatment should never be a cost barrier regardless of your plan. Eura is currently credentialing with major insurers. In the meantime, transparent self-pay rates apply. Contact us to discuss your specific situation.

Can Eura prescribe my antiretroviral medications? +

Yes. Once established as a patient, the provider can manage and refill your antiretroviral therapy, coordinate with your pharmacy, and make evidence-based adjustments to your regimen as needed.
